Wellness Within Stan

It is not every day that you meet a male massage therapist.

But Stanley Hopson is breaking that mold, in being a professional certified massage therapist who owns his business Wellness Within by Stan where he offers holistic healing to his customers.

The former Parkinson Secondary student said that his mission with his mobile massage therapy business which he started back in 2020 is to heal persons bodies so that they feel better.

“ I am interested in the wellbeing of persons health by providing relief to severe illness and sore pains. I like to heal persons ensuring they are well healed. It is not just about the money for me. I have a passion to heal people and make them feel the way they used to feel before by healing them from a sore pain you feel fantastic as it is a fantastic feeling. It is a blessing to heal someone as you are doing it to help them feel better,” he said.

Hopson said that he is passionate about massage therapy because of the healing power massage therapy possess for his clients.

“It is a beautiful feeling to know that you bring someone from an illness to a feeling of getting up and walking around how they used to be before without limping or sore pains, back problems and or spasms. It is a great feeling to know that you can heal someone and focus on them to ensure they are pleased and satisfied,” he said.

Hopson who graduated from Mel’s Institute for Cosmetology and Wellness in both beginners and advanced massage therapy said that one of the highlights of his career is healing his patients.

“I love massage therapy because it is like a heartbeat. You wake up in the morning you feel good about yourself and healing someone. To know a client can give me a call and say they want another service. My clients are very satisfied with my work as I am very professional,” he said.

The entrepreneur said that one of the reasons that his clients feel comfortable coming to him is due to the fact that he has a mobile service and can massage persons in any area across the island.

“My business is mobile in that I have a portable massage chair therefore I am able to do house calls, and or conduct massages anywhere on the island. I have also received my certificates in Infection Prevention Training and adhere to all COVID-19 protocols. Therefore, persons can feel comfortable having a massage whether it is in a spa setting or outdoors. I cater to persons every need and ensure that they leave the session feeling rejuvenated,” he said.

Outside of being a massage therapist and entrepreneur Hopson also owns two other businesses: The Art of Bartending and Stans Exquisite Designs.

“The art of bartending- Mixology By Stan is managing bars, hosting events with bartending, and working in between restaurants as well as teaching bartenders’ mixology, the other is Stan Exquisite Designs where I make artistic designs from pallets. You would not believe that the projects are made from pallets,” he said. (Write Right PR Services)
