Meet Shauna Marshall The owner of SMB Consulting Services
Shauna Marshall is the Strategic Planning Consultant and owner of SMB Consulting Services which is located in Warrens, St Michael.
The former student of The Lester Vaughan School who holds a BSc. Management (Special) from The University of The West Indies Cave Hill Campus, business currently offers strategic planning services, business audits, strategy calls, preparation of business plans and webinars.
Marshall said that her business has undergone a period of restructuring to serve their customers locally and internationally better.
“I am grateful for how the business is going. We do what we can to ensure our client’s success and happiness with their businesses and so far, the feedback is heartwarming. Our business is now offering webinars to share knowledge on growing your business by implementing more efficient strategies in operations and the overall structure of the business as well as increasing revenue streams. We are also planning to launch our membership club in the new year,” she said.
The owner of SMB Consulting Services said that one of the highlights of her business is interacting with business owners and seeing how happy they are after she has offered them effective strategies to assist them with increasing their business productivity and profits.
“I thoroughly enjoy interacting with business owners and seeing how happy they are after we would’ve added effective structures so they can increase the business’ productivity and profits. It’s a joy to assist them in making their dreams a reality. Marshall said that since starting her business she realized that she needed to put herself out there a bit more. Thus, she has decided to tell her story.
“Since starting this business I learnt that we need to be open-minded and work with the trends, we have to keep educating ourselves-whether be with books or YouTube or any other educational platform. My team have been trying to get me to be more out there with my business, but I was always trying to hide behind the scenes. I finally took that bold step recently because I realized I have a story to tell and we have lots of persons out there who need assistance in scaling up their business, so I had to step out and step up,” she said.
After her decision to Step Out and Step Up she decided that she should offer it to her clients thus her Step Out and Step Up coaching programme was started.
“We currently have a few more spaces available for free 15-minute consultations within the next two weeks. The timing may sound a bit short, but persons are leaving these sessions feeling inspired and have been making good use of these consultations to grow their business,” she said.
Marshall said that her business currently helps business owners, CEO’s and management teams create and implement profitable structures for their business to flourish. When persons come to SMB Consulting Services, they feel accomplished, relieved, grateful, contented, triumphant, confident and at peace because we have stepped into their lives.
However, the businesswoman said the service that is in demand is her company’s strategy calls.
“Our strategy calls are designed to help you plan and create strategies to move your business forward, so the 90 minutes for this call is really packed with the clients’ ideas and the strategies we can look into for them to achieve these ideas. In this session, we get to the ‘nitty-gritty of the area of their business they need assistance with. The clients leave with a well-done action plan, 48 hours of email support after the call and they also have access to the recording of the call. Marshall’s words of advice for any aspiring business owner is to stay consistent
“Consistency is key for this business.
