Girl Get UP!
Stacy Hyman is the debut author of Girl Get Up a 31-day devotional book which was published on February 9th, 2023, and is available on international publishing platform Amazon.

The former student of St. Lucy Secondary School now renamed to Daryll Jordan Secondary School said that being an author was not what she had planned but God pushed her towards writing and publishing her book.
“God has a way of getting us directly on track where our true purpose can take flight. I truly believe I am exactly where God wants me to be where I am able to transform lives mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. It took me about two years to complete the book. However, I would add that it took over several years for me to obey the voice of God and write what he revealed to me,” she said.
Hyman, who is a qualified massage therapist, said she wants persons who read her book to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
“I want readers to know life does not end at what hurts us. Life does not end at the mistakes we made or who left us. We can heal and GET UP. God has a plan and our interrupted plans actually gives way for God's plan to take effect. If we trust God enough to let go of the life we've planned, we'll receive a life far beyond our wildest
Dream,” she said.
As the world celebrates International Women’s Day on March 8th, 2023, she said her book which seeks to inspire young women said that women play a vital role in society.
“I am proud to be a woman every day but on International Women’s Day I walk with my head a little higher. As women, individually and collectively we are a force as we have so much to offer individually and collectively not only in our homes but our schools and workforce. However, the limitations and barriers we face make it challenging for us to be the force that we are meant to be. That is why I believe equality is so important because for me when I take a stance as a woman, I free myself from those limitations and barriers as I am not just doing it for me, but for every woman and young girl as well,” she said.
The author of Girl Get Up said that her goal for her debut book is that it allows her to continue to be God’s mouthpiece whilst helping other women overcome life’s setbacks.
“Girl Get Up is more than just a book,it is a movement. One I intend to lead boldly, as we break barriers and overcome the past and Get Up as women. Each time I am given the opportunity to share my story, there's the prayer in my heart for some young girl or woman, to be touched and changed forever as she chooses to Get Up,” she said.
Hyman advised persons who are interested in getting a copy of her book to follow her on Instagram @_.girlgetup_. (Write Right PR Services)
