Ending the year on a high

2021 is ending on a high for financial coach Marcia Armstrong as she is one of the recipients of the Brainz Global Awards.

The Brainz Global Award is a prestigious list of top entrepreneurs from all around the world who are influential leaders and are recognized for their entrepreneurial success achievements and dedication to helping others.

Armstrong who is the owner of A Purpose Life, is currently one of this year’s recipients which include Oprah Winfrey, Jessica Alba, Jay Shetty who is the host of On Purpose, Mel Robbins, and Karen McDermott.

Speaking to the media an elated Armstrong said that she felt proud to have been honoured and chosen by the Brainz Global Awards selection committee as one of the 2021 recipients.

“I feel honoured and proud to have been chosen by such a prestigious magazine that has a reach of over 300,000 readers per week spanning 55 countries. When I was approached, I was quite shocked because I had no idea I was even on their radar. The aim this year for me was to show up every single day with intention and it paid off. I am truly honoured to represent Barbados and inspire fellow Barbadian entrepreneurs to never give up on their dreams as they never know who is watching their progress,” she said.

The financial coach and motivational speaker said knowing that she is listed among celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Jessica Alba was mind-blowing.

“It was truly overwhelming because I am a part of the select few of 500 that represents the Caribbean. There are not many coaches in my niche from the region, so this is valuable exposure. I want this opportunity to open doors for other coaches to access because the world is our stage,” she said.

Armstrong’s advice to any entrepreneur out there who are seeking to receive an award such as Brainz Global Award is to never give up.

“Never give up on your dreams even if others do not see the vision. This year was one of ups and downs, but I continued to remember my why. You never know who is watching you so always work for an audience of one and he will openly reward you. Consistency and time are sisters and are not mutually exclusive. Believe in yourself and your ability. Even when you feel that you are not making progress, remember that your Day 30 is someone else’s day zero. Always remember to celebrate your wins whether big or small and give yourself credit as you are doing something others are afraid to do,” she said.
